Georgia landed one of the top wide receivers in the transfer portal Saturday afternoon.
Colbie Young, who entered the portal out of Miami just under 2 weeks ago, committed to Georgia after multiple predictions came out foreshadowing his decision. Young, who stands at 6-5, 210 pounds, spent 2 seasons with the Hurricanes after spending 2021 at Lackawanna college in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Here’s his post announcing his commitment on Saturday.

Young saw a lot of success at Miami after transitioning to Division 1, choosing Miami over offers from Florida State, Tennessee and more.
Across his past 2 seasons at Miami Young has totaled 79 catches for 930 yards and 10 touchdowns in 22 games. This past season he had 47 receptions for 563 yards and 5 touchdowns, all the 3rd highest marks on the team.
Georgia has now added 3 players out of the portal, 2 of whom are receivers. The Bulldogs also added former Vanderbilt wideout London Humphreys, as well as former South Carolina DL Xzavier McLeod.
Here’s a taste of what you’re getting, Georgia fans:
Love the addition of Miami transfer Colbie Young to Georgia’s WR room.
