Georgia just landed a massive prospect in the class of 2024.

The Bulldogs picked up a commitment from 4-star defensive lineman Nasir Johnson, who was previously committed to Florida. Johnson is an in-state prospect who had been committed to the Gators since June.

This is a huge recruiting win for the Bulldogs. Johnson is the No. 208 overall player and the No. 27 defensive lineman in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Johnson is also the No. 25 player from the state of Georgia.

Johnson attends Dublin High School in Dublin, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 300 pounds.

Johnson took his official visit to Athens this past weekend for the Bulldogs’ win over Ole Miss. He does have a visit scheduled to Florida State in December, according to 247Sports. However, it’s unclear if this commitment to Georgia will keep him from taking that visit.

Georgia has 28 commitments in the class of 2024. The Bulldogs’ class ranks No. 1 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Here are some highlights from Johnson’s high school career:
