Kirby Smart’s recruiting machine of a program continues to roll on as the Bulldogs just reached down into Florida to land a commitment from one of that nation’s top running back prospects.

The latest win for Georgia on the recruiting trail comes as IMG Academy running back Lovasea Carroll has announced his pledge to join Smart’s program over scholarship offers from Florida, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina and Georgia Tech, among many others.

The 6-foot, 189-pound Carroll is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 122 overall recruit in the nation and the No. 8 running back in the country for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following this news, Georgia now holds commitments from six players in the 2021 recruiting cycle with five of those prospects rated as four- or five-star recruits.
