The Georgia Bulldogs have lost a number of key players to the transfer portal this offseason, including star point guard Sahvir Wheeler.
When Wheeler left for Kentucky, it left a big hole in Tom Crean’s starting lineup. But, he seemingly filled that hole on Monday night.
As you can see below, former Gonzaga guard Aaron Cook announced via Twitter that he was heading to Athens to finish his college career:
Blessed and excited to commit to the University of Georgia for my final season. Let’s get to work ‼️ #CommittotheG pic.twitter.com/p74M9MjNXD

Cook, a St. Louis native, started his college career at Southern Illinois, where he played for 4 years. He transferred to Gonzaga last year, averaging 4.2 points, 1.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game. He played in 30 games for the national runners-up, starting 1 of them.
Now, he’ll try to end his career with the Bulldogs on a high note in 2021-22.
