Out of Ascension Episcopal, Woodring also had scholarship offers from Alabama, Air Force and Louisiana. While Woodring does not have a 247Sports rating, he is rated 5-stars by Kohl’s Kicking:
Woodring’s most recent camp was in January of 2022. He scored an impressive 114 points on kickoffs. In December he scored 14 of 15 points on field goals and had a kickoff score of 110. Woodring also competed very well at the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2021. He scored 29 points out of 36 over the 2 days of field goal charting which was one of the top scores at camp. He generates a lot of energy into his kickoffs and it showed where he finished second in his class for average distance and hang-time for a combined total of 109.75 points. Woodring is one of the best prospects in the 2023 class and we expect big things over the upcoming year!
Kohl’s also has highlights from Woodring’s camp appearances:
Sounds good. Go Dawgs!
BOOM!!!!!! A 5 star kicker is a great get!!!! Kickers often win or lose games because of FIELD POSITION OR FIELD GOALS!!! I’m soooooo glad Georgia is getting these elite punters and kickers!!!!!
When we start landing more elite wide receivers. Like Pickens & Blaylock. And when these other fast ones like Arion Smith and AJ Smith start hitting big plays like we know they can. Then Georgia should be called ALL POSITIONS_U!!!!!
PS. Georgia is not behind anyone at position in recruiting except MAYBE wide receiver. Then again not really if we threw it 60 times a game, like Alabama!!!

I didn’t mean to say that Georgia doesn’t already have ELITE RECEIVERS. Personally I believe they do. I’m too tired to go down a list. But Adonis Mitchell is all that and a bag of chips in my book. Looks like a young healthy George Pickens to me. Lad is Dynamic in my book. Lots of injured guys are going to surprise!!!
Arion Smith and CJ Smith are going to undress defenses with their speed!!!! We have another young guy that’s been injured. Not Marcus R but someone else. Oh yea, I think his name is MEEKS? He’s fast and strong. Very strong hands and elite in 50/50 balls. This only barely scratches the surface!!!!!
So many more wide receivers. We are DEEP at receiver!!! Not thin!!! Even without Burton. And I wonder what Burton believed was going to happen while ANYBODY was trying to account for these 4 NFL TE’s? blocking or catching!!!
They all better pray if Georgia goes 4 TE’s in the red zone or on the goal. Only Georgia can stop themselves then or God and personally. I think he likes us!!!! LOL
I can see tons of 1 on 1 coverage with multiple wide receivers!!!! And that is going to challenge our red zone defense. To make us better!!!!
I think the dawgs offense might challenge the defense for best group. And Georgia will have a defense!!!! But I think that offense is lightning waiting to strike as in………..
PS. Kaboom!!!!!!!

Neggie. There are no 5 star kickers sweetie. Let ole Luv help you with this college football stuff son.
Yeah, I only see one kicker and one punter listed for the ’23 class and both are 3* and they ain’t this kid. On our list of commits he doesn’t even show a rating. Maybe he’ll be great, but as far as ratings, he’s not listed.
KickBOOOOMMMM
LOL… loving kickboooommm
Folks don’t get too excited about a kicker or punter commitment, until said kicker hits a long one to get us back into the game for the second half of the Rose Bowl. Then we are those kickers’ biggest fans. Happy to have him.
Everybody still wants to get on the G Train
In the immortal words of Sammy P….
YES SIRrrrrrrr!
You have one NC. Pace yourself Scooter.
Bama offered this kid though
