Georgia is preparing for its first season under new head coach Mike White, who came over from Florida this offseason.

He’s been busy on the recruiting trails and in the transfer portal trying to piece together a roster for the 2022-23 season.

But on Wednesday, White lost a commitment from the Bulldogs’ 2023 class, as 3-star shooting guard Marquavious Brown took to Twitter to announce he was opening his recruitment back up:

Brown is the No. 28 shooting guard in the class of 2023 and the No. 9 overall recruit from the state of Georgia, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

Georgia is now down to only 1 player in its 2023 class. But, for now, it seems White is more focused on assembling a roster for this coming season.
