Georgia loses commitment from key RB in 2025 recruiting class
Georgia suffered one loss on the recruiting trail Sunday evening with a major running back prospect reopening his recruitment.
The player is Jabree Wallace-Coleman, a 4-star running back out of Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Wallace-Coleman committed to Georgia last July, but he announced the move to reopen his recruitment Sunday evening.
Per Wallace-Coleman’s 247 Sports page, Fran Brown was a key part of his recruitment to Georgia. Brown is now the head coach at Syracuse.
I will be decommitting and opening my recruitment back up. #respectmydecision @cy_woodland @RivalsFriedman @BrianDohn247 @SWiltfong247

Wallace-Coleman is listed at 6-feet and 205 pounds as a 4-star recruit. The 247 Sports Composite rates Wallace-Coleman as the 13th RB in the country, the No. 2 player from Pennsylvania and the 153rd overall player in the nation for the class of 2025.
The loss certainly stings, but Kirby Smart’s 2025 recruiting class is still off to a strong start. The Bulldogs currently have 7 firm commitments for the cycle, including a pair of 5-star prospects in the early going.
