Georgia is coming off its second-straight national championship and that means assistants all over Kirby Smart’s staff will be hot commodities on the coaching carousel.
On Wednesday it was reported that a key offensive quality control analyst was leaving for an on-field position at a new school.
Per 247Sports, Eddie Gordon is leaving the Georgia staff to take a position on first-year head coach Trent Dilfer’s staff at UAB:

Obviously the opportunity to become an on-field assistant is a great one for Gordon, who has been on the Georgia staff since 2019.
Gordon is the third assistant to leave Georgia this offseason. Smart will have some holes to fill on his support staff heading into 2023.
