The Georgia Bulldogs aren’t quite putting together the 2019 class they had hoped for after landing the nation’s No. 1 class in 2018.

However, it’s still early, and there are plenty of elite recruits out there who are considering Georgia, including 4-star AT Makiya Tongue out of Louisiana.

On Tuesday afternoon, Tongue — who plays outside linebacker and wide receiver — narrowed his list of schools down to three, with the Bulldogs making the cut:

The Bulldogs will compete with Arizona State out of the Pac-12 and Texas out of the Big 12 for Tongue’s services.

According to the 247Sports composite, Tongue is the No. 15 athlete in the class of 2019 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
