Georgia makes statement vs. Florida in first half ahead of Tennessee game
The Georgia Bulldogs put on a clinic in the first half against rival Florida. UGA basically did whatever it wanted to do, too.
Georgia has a commanding 28-3 lead over Florida at halftime.
Quarterback Stetson Bennett finished 16-of-29 for 262 yards and two touchdowns. The touchdown was a tipped pass to Brock Bowers, who took it for a 73-yard touchdown. Bowers’ touchdown reception could be a Catch of the Year candidate.

Bowers has 4 catches for 125 yards and one touchdown.
Florida did manage a field goal in the second quarter to get some points on the board, but its offense has been stifled all game. The Gators managed just 79 total yards against Georgia’s defense.
Social media is taking note of Georgia’s dominance against Florida.
Time for Georgia to pull its starters and prepare for Tennessee.
