Georgia media go ballistic over pass interference call in the end zone
There was one consensus opinion about a pass interference call against Georgia CB Eric Stokes late in the third quarter against Alabama. Reporters who cover Georgia seemed to agree that the call was poor.
It was a third down and 9 play from the Georgia 10-yard line, and it gave Alabama a first down, which the Crimson Tide converted into a touchdown with a Najee Harris 2-yard run for a 34-24 lead with 51 seconds left in the third quarter.
Here’s a sampling of the media reaction all coming to the same conclusion:
That was a horse crap pass interference call. Only way to say it. Horrible.

I think the same official that administered Saban’s coronavirus tests must’ve also called that pass interference.
