Georgia OL Solomon Kindley admits to the one indulgence he'll enjoy in New Orleans
Of all the bowl destinations, New Orleans offers a type of night life not often seen around the country. For visiting college football players, that could bring out plenty of extra-curricular activity options.
But for Georgia OL Solomon Kindley, that’s not much of a temptation. He’s more likely to be enjoying the bowl gifts he chose: ear pods and surround sound.
“That’s because it’s a business trip to go down there,” Kindley said. “We want to show what Georgia is all about, so if your mindset is on partying, going to Bourbon Street, all that kind of stuff … That’s not for me. I don’t do anything like that.”
There is one thing he won’t be able to pass up, though.
“Oh, I might eat a little bit of gumbo,” Kindley said with a big smile. “Other than that, I’m just a stay at home person … football, school … I’m in my room.”
Asked to confirm chicken gumbo, Kindley nodded in approval.
