The Georgia Bulldogs aren’t off to a very fast start on the recruiting trails during the 2021 cycle, as they don’t have the loaded class currently that we’re used to seeing.

However, there’s still plenty of time before the early signing period, and on Wednesday, Kirby Smart and the Dawgs picked up a big piece for their class.

That’s because 4-star OLB Jamon Dumas-Johnson, a native of Baltimore, announced he’d be heading down to Athens for his college career:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Dumas-Johnson is the No. 14 outside linebacker in the class of 2021 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of Maryland.

The Bulldogs now have 10 players in their 2021 recruiting class. Prior to Dumas-Johnson’s commitment, the class ranked No. 20 in the nation and No. 5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
