After three memorable seasons at Georgia, D’Andre Swift is heading to the NFL. The junior Bulldog running back shared the announcement on his Twitter account.

In three seasons, Swift recorded 2,885 rushing yards for his career, good for seventh place on UGA’s all-time list. Some of Swift’s biggest performances came in rivalry clashes. He logged a career-high 186 rushing yards against Auburn in 2018. This season, Swift logged a career-high 25 rushing attempts in UGA’s 24-17 win over Florida. In the 2019 clash with AU, he became the fifth player in UGA history to have multiple 1,000-yard seasons. As a pass-catcher, Swift recorded a career-high 84 receiving yards against the Gators in 2017.

The SEC Coaches selected Swift First-Team All-SEC for the 2019 season while the Associated Press named him to the All-SEC second team. Swift played in all 14 games, starting 11. He was limited significantly in season’s last two games because of a shoulder injury.

Swift shared a graphic of a lengthy note thanking Bulldog Nation, coaches Kirby Smart and Dell McGee as well as the UGA football family:
