Georgia will host Vanderbilt transfer London Humphreys on an official visit this week, according to 247Sports’ Chris Hummer.
The 6-foot-3 wide receiver from Nashville spent one season with Vanderbilt before jumping in the transfer portal. He was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team earlier this week and is ranked by 247Sports as the top available wide receiver.
Georgia has received a crystal ball prediction to land Humphreys.
A 3-star recruit out of the 2023 class, Humphreys played in all 12 games as a true freshman and finished second on the Commodores with 439 yards and four touchdowns on 22 receptions. He was one of only three freshmen SEC receivers to bring in four receiving scores on the season.
His offer list out of high school was extensive, but the only SEC schools that initially extended scholarships were South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
He has three seasons of eligibility remaining and would immediately provide the Bulldogs with a big-play threat. Humphreys averaged 20 yards a catch in his lone season with Vandy — a mark that ranked second among SEC receivers with at least 10 catches on the season.
