Georgia has an opponent at OLB coach after staff turnover this offseason.
Now, though, the Bulldogs could be nearing a new hire for Kirby Smart’s coaching staff, according to a report.
Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports tweeted on Thursday that the Dawgs are targeting Chidera Uzo-Diribe of TCU for the position:
Georgia is targeting TCU’s Chidera Uzo-Diribe for its outside linebackers coach job, sources tell @on3sports.
Uzo-Diribe, a former standout defensive lineman at Colorado, worked under Sonny Dykes at SMU and had made the move with Dykes to TCU.https://t.co/k5bN5NhJoE

As Zenitz mentions, Uzo-Diribe played defensive lineman for Colorado in college. He has worked at SMU and followed then-SMU coach Sonny Dykes to TCU.
We’ll see if he makes the jump to the SEC, but the Bulldogs are clearly interested in the Horned Frogs’ assistant for the open position.
