Georgia has been busy lately with future scheduling, and there’s another game set for 2025.

Austin Peay announced on Thursday that it would play in Athens in 2025, a second trip to Georgia after the Governors opened the 2018 season there. The game is set for Sept. 6 in Week 2.

The Bulldogs are the latest SEC opponent added to the Governors upcoming football schedules, joining Ole Miss (2021) and Alabama (2022).

“We’re excited to make a return trip Between the Hedges in 2025,” said Austin Peay Director of Athletics Gerald Harrison. “Our student-athletes will enjoy the opportunity to compete in Sanford Stadium, one of college football’s premier venues and I am excited for the next class of Governors to have that opportunity. Like last year, I know Stacheville will travel in large numbers to Athens to support the Govs!”

This comes after Georgia has reportedly set future games with Ohio State in 2030 and 2031, Oklahoma (2023, 2031), UCLA (2025-26), Florida State (2027-28), Texas (2028-29) and Clemson (2029-30, 2032-33).
