Georgia sets program record for offense in an SEC game against Mizzou

Georgia’s offense was running like a well-oiled machine on Saturday night in a 53-28 win over Missouri.
The offense ran so smoothly, in fact, that it broke a school record.
Georgia had 696 yards of total offense on Saturday in Athens, which is the most it has had against an SEC opponent in program history, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
The Bulldogs probably would have eclipsed the 700-yard mark if they hadn’t elected to kneel late in the game while they were running the clock out.
But yards are just yards, right? Still, this was an impressive accomplishment.
Georgia’s highest yardage total leading into the Mizzou game was a 549-yard output last week against Vanderbilt.
The Bulldogs’ 53 points against the Tigers also happened to be the most they have scored in a game this season.
