Georgia takes lead over Tennessee with nifty trick play
Georgia had something up its sleeve against Tennessee on Saturday facing a 7-3 deficit.
The Bulldogs had the ball at the Volunteers’ 18-yard line with just over 3 minutes to go in the 1st quarter and lined up with Dillon Bell in the backfield. Carson Beck tossed it to Bell, who rolled to the right and found a wide-open Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint for a touchdown as the Dawgs took a 10-7 lead over the Vols.
Here’s video of the trick play:

The Bulldogs, of course, have already qualified for the SEC Championship game and are looking to finish off another undefeated season. They haven’t lost a conference game, or any game for that matter, since suffering a 44-28 defeat against Florida on Nov. 7, 2020. Georgia will face Georgia Tech after this one.
Meanwhile, the Volunteers have slipped a little bit since their 11-2 record a season ago. Josh Heupel’s team is looking to avoid back-to-back losses as they fell to Missouri in their last outing.
