Media reacts to Georgia's big win over Tennessee
It was a tale of 2 halves for the Georgia Bulldogs Saturday against Tennessee.
Entering halftime, Georgia trailed 21-17, but the second half, UGA came alive. The Bulldogs outscored the Vols 27-0 to win 44-21.
The Bulldogs forced multiple turnovers against Tennessee quarterback Jarrett Guarantano, and they seized momentum and never looked back.
Quarterback Stetson Bennett finished with 2 touchdown passes and added another one rushing, but this was all about Georgia’s defense suffocating the Vols offense in the second half.
Reactions are pouring in on the Bulldogs win over the Volunteers:
Georgia absolutely beat Tennessee’s ass in the second half. Incredible defensive performance. But Jarrett Guarantano isn’t the answer and hasn’t been for his entire five years. He’s a mediocre quarterback & sees the field poorly for a fifth year starter. Time to move on.

Tennessee has fought their guts out and deserve credit for how much improvement they have shown the last 2 years. The thing that stinks for them is that the gap between them and Georgia is still HUGE!

This is the best UGA defense I have ever seen! The speed they play with at all levels is scary

UGA has played far from a perfect game, but between squirting a QB with water, playing what seems like a half dozen RBs and throwing a TD to a DT, the Dawgs have spent most of the day toying with Tennessee.
