Georgia vs. Alabama: SEC releases initial availability reports for top-5 showdown
Georgia and Alabama are preparing to face off in what should be an instant classic in Week 5.
The 2 SEC foes are facing off at Bryant-Denny Stadium in a game that could have College Football Playoff implications. Ahead of the matchup, the SEC has released an initial availability report for both teams.
For the Bulldogs, running back Roderick Robinson II, wide receiver London Humphreys, and offensive lineman Tate Ratledge have all been ruled out.
Defensive linemen Mykel Williams and Jordan Hall and WR Sacovie White are all listed as questionable. Meanwhile, DL Warren Brinson is listed as probable.
For the Crimson Tide, nobody is listed as out or questionable. Linebackers Qua Russaw and Jeremiah Alexander, and RB Richard Young are all listed as probable.
The Bulldogs’ injuries could be detrimental. Ratledge is a key starter on the offensive line, while Humphreys is a key pass-catching option. Williams is a starter on the defensive line, so his presence would be sorely missed if he’s unable to go in Week 5.
White is the only surprise entry on Georgia’s report, as the freshman did not have a disclosed injury this week.
The SEC will release an updated availability report on Thursday evening.
