Georgia WR Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint suffers gruesome leg injury on terrific TD against Florida
The Georgia Bulldogs are up 14-0 on the Florida Gators in Jacksonville. They scored on the first play of the game on a 75-yard run by Zamir White.
Their second touchdown was a costly one, though, as freshman WR Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint will almost certainly be out for the season after suffering a gruesome leg injury while crossing the goal line.
Rosemy-Jacksaint’s foot was pointing in the wrong direction as he was tackled. It was a clean tackle, just one that had disastrous consequences for the Georgia freshman.
A cart was brought out for Rosemy-Jacksaint and an air cast was quickly applied to the injured leg.
We’ve included the video below. WARNING: It is a very ugly-looking injury:

What a riot. This site has an article about how upset some people were about showing the replay. Now they have a small write up (Spencer Specialty) just to show the clip.
Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.
I hate to see any of these players get hurt.
