Greg McElroy had one thing to say about the Georgia win over Ole Miss and that was that the Bulldogs are back.

The Rebels were ranked 9th in the country before Saturday’s game and were humbled 52-17 in Athens. McElroy said that Georgia was at its best in Week 11 and that the Bulldogs are the team to beat down the stretch.

McElroy agreed that the Bulldogs are a legit team on Sunday’s version of Always College Football.

“It’s been a while, really, since we’ve seen them at their best. I tweeted this last night, I said Georgia’s back, that’s the team that you need to be prepared for down the stretch,” said McElroy. “They are legit, that’s a really good football team.”

The Georgia offense outgained Ole Miss 611 to 352 in total yards. The Bulldogs had 300 passing yards and 311 rushing yards.

Carson Beck had 306 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards combined for 186 yards on the ground with 4 touchdowns.

Tennessee’s loss to Missouri helped Georgia clinch the SEC East as the Bulldogs will once again be facing Alabama for the title.

The remaining games on the schedule are now Tennessee and Georgia Tech. The Vols and Bulldogs meet in Knoxville.
