True freshman Jacob Eason started for Georgia at quarterback against Nicholls State, but the Bulldogs may be opting for more experience in their SEC opener this weekend.

Senior quarterback Greyson Lambert was seen practicing with the starters during the media viewing period at Tuesday’s practice, according to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald.

Lambert started for the Bulldogs against North Carolina, but it was Eason who appeared to spark the offense in the come-from-behind victory. Against Nicholls State, Eason was pulled after he threw his first interception in the fourth quarter and Lambert was brought in to protect Georgia’s lead.
