Imitation game: Jake Fromm, Javon Wims do their best to recreate Terry Godwin’s incredible catch

On Saturday night, Georgia WR Terry Godwin made one of the most incredible catches you’ll ever see, snagging a touchdown pass with one hand while falling on his back against Notre Dame.

It was such a rare play that it’s difficult to imitate even if there’s no defender and you try it several times.

That’s what QB Jake Fromm (who threw the pass that Godwin caught in the 20-19 victory) and WR Javon Wims found out at practice on Tuesday, a they tried and failed to recreate the amazing play:

As you can see, Fromm actually displayed some pretty good hands while trying to mimic Godwin’s catch.

Could we see a trick play in which someone, perhaps even Wims, throws a pass to Fromm in an upcoming game? If so, Fromm has the hands to turn in another amazing highlight.
