Jaden Rashada is set to transfer from Georgia after spending 1 season with the Bulldogs, according to a report.

That’s per ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Sunday morning:

Rashada has endured a roller-coaster career so far. After initially signing with Florida as a 4-star recruit in the class of 2023, he asked to be released from his letter of intent after his NIL deal with the Gators fell through. He then spent his freshman season at Arizona State before transferring to Georgia for the 2024 campaign.

With Jaden Rashada now set to transfer from Georgia after 1 season, he’ll be on his 3rd program in 3 years (not including Florida) in 2025. He also is still in the midst of a lawsuit against head coach Billy Napier over the botched NIL deal.

Rashada did not take any snaps for Georgia this season, instead serving as depth behind Carson Beck and Gunner Stockton. In fact, when Stockton had to come out of the game on the final play of the SEC Championship Game after losing his helmet, UGA sent an injured Beck out onto the field to take the snap rather than turning to Rashada.

Georgia’s plan at the quarterback position for 2025 remains uncertain. The Bulldogs could rely on Stockton next season, but they’ll likely look to add at least 1 quarterback via the portal for depth purposes at the very least.

Rashada will have 3 years of eligibility remaining at his next destination.
