Jake Camarda has joined the list of NFL punters who have hit the scoreboard at Jerry World.
Camarda’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing the Dallas Cowboys Sunday night in AT&T Stadium. The stadium’s video scoreboard is so massive that some punts end up hitting the bottom. It happened to Camarda, who played at Georgia from 2018-to-2021, in the third quarter of the game on his first NFL regular-season punt.

The stadium opened in 2009 under the name Cowboys Stadium. Since then, there have been just a handful of instances of punted balls hitting the jumbotron.
Any time the ball hits the video board, it’s a re-kick. Camarda, the No. 133 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, actually had to punt a third time after the Cowboys ran into him on the redo.
The Bucs are up on the Cowboys 19-3 in the third quarter. The game is currently airing on NBC.
