Jake Fromm admits to being 'little bit shocked' following Georgia's loss to South Carolina
Jake Fromm and the Georgia offense weren’t ready to play Saturday against the Gamecocks and it came back to bite them in the end.
The junior quarterback threw three interceptions against South Carolina, one of which was returned for a touchdown in Georgia’s 20-17 double-overtime loss on Saturday. Despite having two opportunities to score in the extra period, the Bulldogs did not convert a single time during overtime.
Fromm ended up completing just 28 of 51 passes for 295 yards and a single touchdown.
After the game, Fromm shared his thoughts on his team still having everything to play for in the second half of the season.
“I still think we can accomplish everything we want to accomplish moving forward,” Fromm said. “We just have to take it week in and week out and win every single game from here on out.”
Fromm was later asked how shocked he was following the surprising outcome of the game.
“Yeah, if I had it planned out, this wasn’t the way it was going to go, a little bit shocked,” Fromm admitted. “Maybe that’s what we needed. We can go back to the drawing board and get better.”

Shocked?
I told you so kid. You weren’t listening like many of our other young and dumb fans on this site.
How many predictions is this now? 5? SDS may have to give me a title.
USC should have sung Georgia On my Mind while walking off The field at Sanford Stadium. Karma
Ummm … shouldn’t have sang Rocky Top after the last game.
Shouldn’t be on here commenting
Those things are not related
USC’s defense was not out there defending Tennessee’s honor
I believe he is just talking about being cocky and arrogant.
I understood his weak attempt at a point, but they are not related and there is no connection between the two things
It’s a point on direct connection.
One week, you are a young arrogant punk and the very next week you are a loser who embarrassed more than yourself at home against a …third string QB.
It’s called Hubris.
USC should have sung Georgia On my Mind while walking off The field at Sanford Stadium. Karma
He was referring to Karma. It is possible to be a top ranked team and win most of your games and still be humble.
karma is not real. implying or insinuating UGA would have won had Fromm not sang rocky top is moronic and defending that thought process is foolish.
Am I the only one that thinks this team is over hyped? Dont get me wrong. I want the Dawgs to win every game and win the Natty. Not going to happen this year. They have to get through Bama to do that. But let’s back up a little. Its looking like they won’t even make it out of the East this season. They could not get the offense going against SC’s defense. What’s going to happen against Florida? Dawgs are in trouble. “Best offensive line in the country”? Sorry, I don’t see that one. Couldn’t open holes for the running backs. Couldn’t pass block as good as they needed to. It’s going to be a LONG rest of the season.
I hope that you are right! Go Cocks!!
Maybe UGA should have tried the ole blackout gimmick. Oh, i forgot, Bama taught them NEVER to do that… LOL!!!
RTR!
I’m truly disappointed in Kirby’s lack of backing for Blankenship. I’m a true dawg fan but sick to death of listening to every commentator praise and hail worship on Fromm and they are going to pull the Heisman campaign from Blankenship and allow him to carry this loss on his back, after 3 years of absolute excellence on the field?? Stupid move. Should have kept Fields. Bad move coach.
