Jared Walsh has quietly become a budding star for the Los Angeles Angels after being drafted out of Georgia in the 39th round of the 2015 MLB Draft.

He was an all-star in 2021 and is on track to potentially earn another all-star berth this summer if he continues his hot play.

On Saturday night against the New York Mets, Walsh pulled off the rare feat of hitting for the cycle, which involves 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run.

Here’s a look at all 4 hits from the former Bulldog’s special night:

Walsh is only the third player to hit for the cycle in the majors this season. Walsh is hitting .260 with 11 home runs and 36 RBI this year. The Angels have struggled recently, but thanks to some hot hitting by Walsh and others, they seem to have snapped out of their slump.
