Joel Klatt thinks there are only 3 teams that can cause Georgia “some trouble” this season.

Klatt believes there’s only a handful of teams that can make Georgia’s coaching staff have to “pause” in preparation for them and his choices are… interesting.

“I think that’s Ohio State. I think that’s Texas. And I think that’s Oregon,” Klatt said. “Those are the teams that are best built to matchup with Georgia. Not beat, but matchup with.”

“I look at these 3 teams and they’re all good enough at the line of scrimmage, on both sides of the ball,” Klatt said. “They all have excellent skill position players on the outside, not just good enough, but excellent skill position players on the outside. In Texas and Oregon’s case they have a quarterback who can take it to level 5, if need be, and we still may see that out of Kyle McCord. He’s got that talent. Certainly in Texas and Ohio State’s case you’ve got a play caller that could give Georgia problems.”

No. 1 Georgia currently sits at 11-0 on the season and 8-0 in SEC play. The 2-time defending National Champions have won 28-straight games dating back to the 2021 season and are coming off 3-straight wins over ranked opponents, most recently a 38-10 win on the road over Tennessee.

Georgia heads on the road to take on Georgia Tech this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
