Georgia’s recruiting momentum continues to roll on as the Bulldogs just landed a commitment from four-star Tennessee running back, Jordan James.

The Oakland High School standout from Murfreesboro announced his commitment on Monday over scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, Florida State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, among others.

The 5-foot-10, 205-pound James ranks as the No. 17 running back prospect in the country and the No. 3 overall prospect from Tennessee in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

James’ commitment comes just days after five-star Georgia athlete Malaki Starks and four-star North Carolina linebacker Jalon Walker announced their commitments to Georgia.

Following this news, Georgia currently ranks No. 1 in the SEC and No. 2 nationally in the 2022 recruiting rankings. A commitment from another four- or five-star prospect will be enough to push the Bulldogs into the No. 1 spot nationally.

All 11 prospects currently committed to Georgia rank as either four- or five-star prospects.

During his junior season at Oakland, James rushed for 1,752 yards and 26 touchdowns.
