Judge grants a fan’s emergency request to move trial due to conflict with Georgia’s Playoff appearance

For Georgia Bulldogs fans, it doesn’t get much better than what’s happening right now.

In just Kirby Smart’s second year, the Dawgs are SEC Champions and playing in the College Football Playoff (Rose Bowl) against Oklahoma. So, naturally, UGA fans are a little tied up this year on New Year’s Day.

So, one fan recently filed an emergency motion with Chatham County to move the trail date from January 2, because it was in direct conflict with the College Football Playoff, and the judge granted it without hesitation.
