It may not have been pretty but the Bulldogs have the lead at the halftime break against Texas A&M following a solid second-quarter performance by Georgia’s offense.

Jake Fromm completed only four of his 13 pass attempts in the first half but he has not turned the ball over and has 72 yards and a touchdown. D’Andre Swift has 75 rushing yards on 13 carries. Freshman receiver George Pickens caught the touchdown pass from Fromm with a 16-yard reception.

Georgia’s defense continues to perform at a dominant level as the Bulldogs have held the Aggies to minus-9 rushing yards in the first half. The Aggies have only 73 total yards of offense in the first half.

Heading into the locker room for the halftime break, Kirby Smart shared his thoughts on his team’s first-half performance.
