Kirby Smart on Jordan Davis’s big day, George Pickens’ injury status

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs had an easy tuneup game against Charleston Southern on Saturday afternoon in Athens.
The No. 1 Bulldogs cruised to an easy 56-7 win on Senior Day, with star DT Jordan Davis getting to conduct the Georgia band after the game.
Smart had plenty of praise for his team and his players in the postgame press conference.

Kirby Smart said Nolan Smith (elbow) probably could have played, but should be fine for next week….Chris Smith's knee "buckled" during practice Wednesday but should be OK for next week.

Georgia finishes the regular season at Georgia Tech next weekend. Then, it’s off to the SEC Championship Game and (most likely) the College Football Playoff.
