Georgia has been without the services of JT Daniels for the last several weeks. The Bulldogs quarterback has played in just 3 games this year, his last appearance coming in the first half of their win at Vanderbilt on Sep. 25.

Stetson Bennett III has filled in nicely in Daniels’ stead, and the big question centers around what will happen when Daniels returns. Will Kirby Smart, who’s said that he’ll use both quarterbacks when healthy, primarily stick with Bennett the rest of the way or give Daniels most of the reps as the Dawgs continue to push toward a possible College Football Playoff appearance?

That answer will come in due time, but according to Smart, Daniels has appeared healthy in practice in the leadup to the Cocktail Party against Florida on Saturday.

“He’s done a good job,” he said, according to The Athletic’s Seth Emerson. “I wouldn’t say there’s been a lot of limitations.”

Regardless of who gets the lion’s share of time behind center against the Gators, the Bulldogs have benefited from having one of the nation’s best defenses, ranking 1st in FBS in points allowed per game and yardage allowed per game. They’ll look to carry that on against Florida on Saturday.
