Georgia wraps up its regular season on Saturday as it resumes its longtime series with Georgia Tech in Atlanta, its final tuneup before the SEC Championship Game vs. Alabama on Dec. 4. The 2 teams didn’t play last year due to the pandemic but are set to meet on the gridiron once more as the Bulldogs will look to make it 4 wins in a row against the Yellow Jackets.
Will the Bulldogs’ offense include WR George Pickens and RB Kendall Milton? Pickens hasn’t played at all this year after an ACL tear in the spring, while Milton suffered a sprain of his MCL in October. Meanwhile, defensive back Christopher Smith was injured in practice leading up to the Charleston Southern game and didn’t play in that one.
On Wednesday, Kirby Smart provided an update on all 3 players. It appears that Pickens might be a little bit closer than the other 2 in terms of being ready to take on the Yellow Jackets:
Georgia WR George Pickens (ACL) is working with the No. 2 and 3 offense in practice in a non-contact jersey but still has not been cleared, per Kirby Smart. S Christopher Smith (knee) not practiced this week and sounds like RB Kendall Milton (MCL) may not be quite ready this week
