Kirby Smart reacts to Georgia's heart-wrenching loss to Tennessee
With victory virtually in Georgia’s grasp, Tennessee snatched it away at the last moment with one 43-yard Hail Mary pass.
The carnival-like atmosphere in Sanford Stadium went from sheer euphoria to morgue-like in a matter of moments. Instead of being in control of the SEC East division race, Georgia finds itself on the outside-looking-in.
Head coach Kirby Smart addressed the tough 34-31 defeat in a post-game press conference:
KIrby Smart: "A sick way to end the game." UGA practices that type of play on Thursdays.
