Kirby Smart likes to say Georgia must be elite in everything it does, so after the latest throttling of Tennessee, Smart revealed what Georgia
“The ability to take a punch, and to give one,” Smart said. “The knockout fighters, they can get knocked out, if they can’t take a punch. This group’s proven, again and again, that they can take jabs, punches, with the best of them. Hang around until they can throw one.”
Carson Beck threw for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead Georgia to a 38-10 win at Tennessee on Saturday night, as the Bulldogs became the first team to go unbeaten in the SEC 3 years in a row since the league went to an 8-game schedule in 1992.
Dillon Bell was one of the receiving stars as he caught 5 passes for 90 yards and a touchdown, and also threw an 18-yard TD pass to Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint for the Bulldogs. Rosemy-Jacksaint was the other as he caught 7 passes for 91 yards and 2 TDs.
