Kirby Smart updates status of host of Georgia WRs ahead of Cocktail Party vs. Florida
Georgia’s wide receiver corps has been banged up, to say the least. It’s not done much to dampen the mood in the Bulldogs locker room as they’re ranked No. 1 in the country ahead of Saturday’s Cocktail Party against Florida, but they’ll hope that they can continue to get bodies healthy during the tail end of the season with an SEC Championship Game and College Football Playoff berth on the horizon.
Arian Smith, Jermaine Burton, and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint have been just some of the wide receivers that have been injured for the Bulldogs this season. But, according to Kirby Smart, they should see time against the Gators on Saturday.
Coach Smart "hopes" to get Arian Smith back after missing the last five games. He's been on a 50-percent pitch count and repping with the twos. https://t.co/ub4iUnGgoD

Coach Smart also said Jermaine Burton is still battling a hamstring injury, but hopes to have him and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint seeing more reps against Florida. https://t.co/ub4iUnGgoD

However, there’s yet another name to add to the list of injured wide receivers, and that’s Justin Robinson, who has suffered an injury to his hamstring, per Smart. The extent of the injury and the amount of time Robinson will miss is not known at this time.
Georgia and Florida kick off at their usual 3:30 p.m. ET time slot from Jacksonville on Saturday, with the game to be shown on CBS.
