KJ Bolden had NFL development in mind when picking Georgia over Florida State in the Early Signing Period.
Bolden flipped from Florida State on Wednesday after being committed to the Seminoles since August. He’s the No. 1 safety and No. 2 prospect out of Georgia in the 2024 class, per the 247Sports Composite.
The recent Georgia signee stated that he is focusing on the long term in an interview on Thursday. Bolden revealed he could’ve had more NIL money with Florida State.
“NIL money that’s like short-term money,” said Bolden. “You are only getting that money right now for the moment. The big money is the NFL money.”

The Bulldogs have produced some NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball lately. Jalen Carter, Nolan Smith, and Jordan Davis are all on the Philadelphia Eagles. Nakobe Dean and Kelee Ringo are also with Philadelphia.
On the offensive side of the ball there’s been NFL talent too. James Cook is with the Buffalo Bills. Mecole Hardman is with the Kansas City Chiefs.
