Former 5-star recruit Justin Fields intends to transfer from Georgia following the Sugar Bowl against Texas, and Ohio State has emerged as a potential front-runner to land the talented quarterback’s services.

However, that isn’t sitting well with a quarterback currently on the Buckeyes’ roster — Tate Martell.

Martell, who served as Dwayne Haskins’ backup this year and figures to be the starter in 2019 if Haskins leaves for the NFL (as projected). Martell sent a cryptic tweet that seemed to be aimed at Fields on Friday night:

Martell figures to start in 2019 even if Fields comes to Columbus, as he would likely have to sit out a year.

Still, Martell has seemingly made it clear that he’s not happy about the reports that are swirling about Ohio State being in the mix for the talented freshman out of Georgia.
