A T-shirt Georgia fans will enjoy is making its rounds on the way to South Bend, Ind. and the Chicago area ahead of Saturday’s Georgia-Notre Dame game.

Clint Massey recently tweeted a picture of the shirt that outlines some of the more notable national stories to come out of Notre Dame in recent years.

USATODAY reported that former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis’ buyout after being fired in 2009 was $18.97 million.

The shirt also references the fake girlfriend story of former linebacker Manti Te’o, which was first reported by Deadspin. The story of Te’o’s girlfriend dying, which he said inspired him as he helped the Fighting Irish get to the BCS National Championship, was a hoax. Deadspin reported it could find no record of Lennay Kekua existing.

The only other time the teams met, in the 1981 Sugar Bowl, Georgia won 17-10 on the strength of 36 carries for 150 yards and two touchdowns from running back Herschel Walker.

The movie Rudy, which was released in 1993, chronicles the path of a walk-on who dreamed of playing for Notre Dame, but was repeatedly told he was too small. In a famous sack in the film, some have questioned that Rudy was offsides on the play.

Larry Munson was a legendary broadcaster for Georgia who called his last game in 2008, and died in 2011. Here is a tribute video of his famous calls.
