Georgia sophomore quarterback Jacob Eason seems to be in good spirits following his recent knee injury.
He took to social media for the first time since the injury to let fans know he’s doing alright after going down in the first half of Georgia’s 31-10 win over Appalachian State last Saturday.
Eason also gave a shout out to teammate Jake Fromm, who will start at quarterback for the Bulldogs Saturday at Notre Dame.
He posted on his Instagram account Thursday, “Down but never out, next man up. Thank y’all for the prayers! #ATD.”
It is unclear as to when Eason may be able to return to the field. Head coach Kirby Smart said Monday that Eason would be “week to week.”
Eason threw for over 2,400 yards and 16 touchdowns last season.
Georgia is a 4.5-point underdog against the Fighting Irish. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
