WATCH: UGA QB Jacob Eason injured after late hit, penalty by Appalachian State
Things have not started out great for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Starting QB Jacob Eason was injured after a late hit sustained in the first quarter Saturday evening. The 15th ranked Bulldogs were expected to lean heavily on Eason and star RBs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.

The injury is currently being reported as a knee injury by ESPN:

Eason was replaced by true freshman Jake Fromm at QB. Eason was 1-for-3 with four yards before his injury.
