4-star Louisiana receiver Malik Nabers updates recruitment, names pair of finalists
One of the best receivers in the South is getting close to making his college decision.
Lafayette, La., native Malik Nabers announced on Friday he’s down to two options for his services — Georgia and Mississippi State. In addition to offers from those two programs, Nabers holds scholarship offers from Auburn, Tennessee Miami, Notre Dame and Oklahoma.
The 6-foot, 190-pound Comeaux High School standout is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 45 receiver in the nation and the No. 8 overall prospect from the state of Louisiana for the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
During his junior season at Comeaux High School Nabers caught 58 passes for 1,223 yards and 21 touchdowns.
I want to be the best. I’m on a mission. Just hungry & passionate.#2021Savages@FbIberia @samspiegs @DemetricDWarren @LemmingReport @Sheadixon @JimmyDetail @DB_Precision @HamiltonESPN @BillyEmbody @4thQtMentality @ComeauxFootball pic.twitter.com/L21iCuY8Wr

More blue chips for Georgia.
Dudes going to state hate to tell you. Teddy Knox is a good friend of his and Teddy signed with us…..
LSU didnt even offer him? Interesting. Come on over to a team with a future young man, the real DAWG nation awaits!
LSU listed under the “interest” tab but they’ve got a commitment from two higher rated WRs and rumored to have subliminal nods from two others…no team can lock all the local talent down…
UGA has George Pickins and Dom Blylock for at least 2 more seasons. After those 2 you have Tommy Bush, Matt Landers, Kearis Jackson, Trey Blount who all have 2 or more seasons left.
Then you have the incredible WR class that was signed this past cycle.
Most of the guys are Blue Chip, Top-100 players.
Outside of a 5-star or a 2/3-star I am surprised that UGA can recruit anybody for WR in 2021.
Matt Landers is one of the biggest scholarship wastes of Kirby’s tenure. Why on earth would you list him.
But yes, we only have room for 1 or 2 WRs this cycle. Sucks that we missed out on Hall and Mario Williams.
Landers looked good in the Sugar Bowl, hopefully he turns the corner. Ton of potential if he can put it together.
I’d say Beal has been a bigger bust. Also, Netroi Johnson definitely hasn’t lived up to his ranking and the recruiting battle with Bama for him.
I’m not ready to sell all my stock in Landers yet, his skills are undeniable, his inability to grasp the playbook frustrating, almost a,ways seems to be out of position or on a different play sheet but when he gets it together dude can move.
BAGMEN, come forth!!!!!
who is your pimp?
I’m calling them, but we ain’t got the money you got. Our bag men got lint.
Who’s “we” sucker?
His 2 teams are MsState and some other team…..doubledeuce33, can u read?
So you’re a Miss State fan then. I didn’t know.
You said “we ain’t got the money you got.” So maybe you can not read.
He doesn’t have a commutable offer to UGA. MSU here
