Maria Taylor got the sendoff she deserved on her last show with Football Night in America before taking maternity leave.

The entire crew put together a video for her, congratulating her and wishing her the best as she prepares to welcome a child into the world. It was also revealed that her baby is going to be a boy on Sunday’s broadcast.

Here’s what Taylor had to say about her sendoff:

“Thank you to my NBC & FNIA Family for this wonderful send off! It’s been amazing to be your Sunday Night QB week to week, while growing my franchise player,” said Taylor.” I have never felt more blessed to be somewhere! Thank you everyone for the well wishes for my family and I.”

Taylor started off her career at Georgia in 2012 as a reporter and host for IMG College. She then joined ESPN in 2013 and SEC Network in 2014. Many fans know her from her time with College GameDay, which started in 2017. Taylor later joined NBC Sports in 2021 to be on Football Night in America.
