Today is Mark Richt’s birthday and the former Miami and Georgia head coach was eager to show some gear he received to celebrate the event.
On Thursday morning, Richt shared the Georgia gear that was sent to him for his special day.
Richt coached in Athens from 2001 through 2015, going 145-51 during that stretch, which includes nine bowl wins. After leaving Georgia, Richt returned to his alma mater to serve as head coach for three seasons.
During his time leading Miami, the Hurricanes went 26-13.
Now Richt spends his days serving as an analyst on the ACC Network.
Even though he has allegiances to the ACC, Richt still likes to support the Dawgs when he has the chance.
