Former Georgia star Mecole Hardman has easily transitioned his speed to the NFL, and after he caught a touchdown pass in the national title game, Hardman has gone on to win a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.

But his latest highlight-reel grab came over the middle in the preseason game on Friday night against the Arizona Cardinals. Hardman finished with 4 catches for 39 yards and a touchdown on 8 targets in the Chiefs’ 17-10 win.

“You saw he made a big play on that Cover Zero play where Chad (Henne) put it up for him,” quarterback Patrick Mahomes said. “You want to see those things. You want to see guys that when his number’s called, when Tyreek’s not playing, he’s kind of in that Tyreek (Hill) position, that he’s going out there to try and make plays and he’s making them. I thought he did a good job of that of kind of battling through and being in that top spot.”
