For some receivers, it would be disappointing to land on a roster with established wideouts Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins. Kansas City coach Andy Reid, however, makes sure to get the ball into the hands of his playmakers. Reid and the Chiefs coaches know they have a playmaker in former Georgia WR Mecole Hardman.

In the second quarter, Hardman got the opportunity to show off his incredible speed, putting the “jet” in jet sweep on a 30-yard touchdown:

From a Kansas City perspective, you can’t quite say “No Mahomes, no problem,” but it’s encouraging to see that Hardman and other receivers are still producing while the reigning MVP is sidelined due to injury.

It has been a big first half for Hardman, with 55 yards of offense already.
