Michael Uini, elite 2024 OT out of Texas, announces SEC commitment

Michael Uini is a 4-star recruit and one of the top offensive tackles in the country for the class of 2024. On Friday, he announced his college commitment.
With a final group that consisted of Georgia, Alabama and Michigan, Uini ultimately went with Kirby Smart’s defending national champion program. It’s another elite addition for Georgia’s top-ranked recruiting class.

Prior to his commitment, Uini generated over 30 scholarship offers from some of the top Power 5 programs in the country.
Uini is listed at 6-foot-7 and 290 pounds out of Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, Texas. According to the 247 Sports Composite, Uini is a 4-star prospect and the No. 9 OT in the country and the 145th overall player for the class of 2024.
Uini’s commitment brings Georgia up to 22 players in the 2024 recruiting class. That group is the top-ranked class for the cycle per the 247 Sports Team Composite, and that ranking is unlikely to change any time soon.
